  • NAAPID Performance: American Sign Language (ASL) students signed as CHS Jazz Band members played and sang a moving version of "Lift Every Voice and Sing" on February 13. Click here to watch the video.

  • 826michigan is a nonprofit writing center that "inspires school-aged students to write confidently and skillfully with the help of adult volunteers in their communities." They offer free tutoring, drop-in writing sessions, and creative writing workshops. Download their Winter/Spring flyer for more information about dates, times, and locations.

  • Community's The Communicator won a National Scholastic Press Association "Best of Show" award for Newsmagazine at the Spring National High School Journalism Convention in Indianapolis in November 2016. The Communicator Online also won a "Best of Show" award. Great job, Communicator students and teacher Tracy Anderson!
