Welcome Parents and Guardians,
My name is Brittany Hahn Pavlik, and I am simply delighted to be your child's kindergarten teacher this year! Some of you may know me as Ms. Hahn from last year. This past May I got married, so that is why I have a new last name.
I am originally from the great state of Georgia. I grew up in small town called Chatsworth. I love spending time with my family, friends, and pets. I have a dog, named Watson and three cats: Curtis, Cane, and Kitten. I enjoy making art, taking photography, designing interior spaces, and reading. Being a Kindergarten teacher has been my life-long dream.
I received Bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia and later obtained my Master’s degree through the University of Michigan. I have experience in Pre-K through 4th grade, while I was in my graduate program at the University of Michigan; I was fortunate enough to teach at Ann Arbor Open, King Elementary, and Mitchell Elementary. I have also been a long-term substitute teacher at King Elementary and Northwest Elementary. This is my second year teaching at Pittsfield, and I am just overjoyed to be teaching Kindergarten again this year!
Please let me know how I can best support your child in their academic learning and social growths this year. I am fully dedicated to being supportive to my students and their families. I can be contacted via phone at (734) 997-1218, if I am teaching please leave a message with the front office and I will call you back as soon as I can. My Ann Arbor Public Schools email is email@example.com My email may change later this year. However, I will keep you posted on this transition. This is going to be a fantastic school year!
