Volunteer Opportunities

Our  Mission Statement: 

The Forsythe PTSO will provide the volunteers and funds to enrich the education of all students and offer equality of opportunity through building community with parents and teachers; effective communication; and providing opportunities for families to be involved in the school community

The PTSO is an essential part of the all extra curricular activities, events and provides assistance through financial and volunteer support to the kids, staff and teachers. Please strongly consider donating your skill set to help out the PTSO by volunteering!  Most volunteer opportunities require an average of 1 to 2 hours per MONTH…it is a great way to meet people and get involved while improving your child’s middle school experience!! Thank you in advance for helping out!

THERE are many other volunteer opportunities! Please see the Volunteer Opportunities Document that follows! WE NEED YOU! Just by being a parent or guardian you are already a member of the Forsythe PTSO. Please volunteer to help out at an event – even in middle school, parental participation is a requirement for a successful school year! 

Another document you will see is the 2011/2012 Pledge Form! This form is for dues donation and SCHOLARSHIP MONEY! PTSO is able to do so many wonderful things for our kids, teachers and staff because of your financial support! THANK YOU!

Please join us for the First Day Coffee on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 from 7:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. in the Media Center for beverages and refreshments. Hope to see you there!
