    Hello AAPS Community, 

    Congratulations to the 1,400 members of the Ann Arbor Public Schools Class of 2024!

    It is with great honor that I stand before you as the Interim Superintendent of Ann Arbor Public Schools to celebrate and honor all of YOU, the class of 2024.

     

    As we gather here to celebrate this momentous occasion, I want to acknowledge the extraordinary journey that the class of 2024 has undertaken.

     

    Seniors, you have faced unprecedented challenges throughout your academic journey. From finishing your 8th-grade year online to starting high school remotely, your ability to adapt quickly to changes and persevere through adversity is truly remarkable.

     

    In the face of adversity, you have shown us what it means to be resilient. Class of 2024, you have proven time and time again that you are capable of handling difficult decisions and doing hard things, and you have persevered and emerged stronger and more prepared for the future.   

     

    Throughout your journey, remember that you are not alone. We, your teachers, friends, and administrators, will always be here to support and guide you. You are not just graduates of an Ann Arbor High School; you are forever part of the Ann Arbor Public Schools family.

     

    Each and every one of you possesses unique talents and abilities that will propel you towards continued greatness. I want you to know that we, at Ann Arbor Public Schools, believe in you.  Our commitment to your success does not end with your graduation; it extends far beyond this moment.  You have already proven that you can adapt to unexpected circumstances, and that adaptability will serve you well in your future endeavors. 

     

    Congratulations, class of 2024! You have made us proud, and we cannot wait to see the incredible things you will achieve. May your journey be filled with joy, success, and a continued display of the resilience that defines you.
