Mrs. Peurach
With 22 years of experience with the library system, Mrs. Peurach spent ten years within the Ann Arbor Public Schools system, and 14 years with the Ann Arbor District Library. Her college education began with a teaching degree from Eastern Michigan University and culminated with a Masters Degree in Library and Information Science from Wayne State University.
“Through my years of education and work in the library field, I have maintained active memberships in the Michigan Library Association and the Michigan Association of Media in Education.”
Mrs. Peurach‘s Educational Philosophy:
”My affinity for the library began in my youth. I was a ‘library helper’ at my elementary school. The valuable lesson I learned was the library is not only a mechanism for reading and learning but also for exploration. As a media specialist, it’s my goal to convey to students that they have many resources available to learn and explore new ideas, and to help them develop a love of reading and life-long learning.”
