My name is Shawn Davis and I'm proud to be teaching your little cougars this year.  Our classroom will be one that is Respectful, Responsible, and Safe.  The year will be full of adventure and learning so be prepared to be amazed!

I have been teaching Kindergarten for 16 years here in the Ann Arbor Public Schools.  I have been in the district for much longer than that.  I was born and raised here in Ann Arbor and attended Eberwhite, Slauson, and Pioneer.  I graduated from Eastern Michigan University and also received my Masters in the Art of Education from Marygrove College.  

My son and daughter are my passion and in turn I bring that passion into the classroom to provide the best education for my students.  Our Kindergarten classes will play a pivotal role in the overall success of Carpenter Elementary.  I look forward to the exciting adventure that we will take together this year and in the years ahead.
