    Eberwhite Elementary School

    Hello and Welcome to Eberwhite!
We hope that you find this website helpful with information about our wonderful school community.  If you don't find what you are looking for, please don't hesitate to call our office at 734-994-1934 or email me personally at harrisw@aaps.k12.mi.us.

If you are a parent with a student at Eberwhite Elementary or you are interested in enrolling, please review the information below.
    • Eberwhite's office opens again on Monday, August 12th.
    • If your child will be new to Eberwhite in the fall, we encourage you to enroll him/her before August 12th, by visiting the district's website at www.http://a2schools.org.
    • Popsicles with the Principal will take place on Friday, August 16th at 1pm on the east playground and is simply an opportunity to reconnect with Mr. Harris and other students while enjoying a cool treat.
    • Class placements will be sent via email to families in late August, just prior to our Meet and Greet on August 27th from 4:00pm-5:00pm.  This will take place on the classroom patios and/or playgrounds and is a great opportunity to meet your child's teacher and connect with schoolmates.
    •  School will resume on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2019.
    Other important information...

Mark your calendars now!  In just a few short months, all the hard work that has been put into our playground, hours and hours of designing, planning, and fundraising, will result in a historic community-build event!

Playground Rebuild Week: Oct. 15th-Oct. 20th

Part of what has made the Eberwhite playground so special is that it was built by our community. It was built by kids in the school, their parents & teachers, our neighbors and volunteers from the whole community! We believe that the investment a community puts into a playground is a paid back a thousandfold with a healthier community surrounding it.

Everyone has a part to play in rebuilding our playground. Whether you have experience or are just a willing hand...whether you can serve all week or can only fill a few time slots, we have a role for you. Just imagine how much stronger our school community will be as we come together over the course of six days to build this playground that not only serves our children but future generations as well.

We have opportunities to volunteer regardless of your skill level and available time. Please join us in this community rebuild!  Choose your role and time slots here:
