Hello! My name is Mallory Kairys (pronounced like “carries”). I have previously taught kindergarten and reading intervention in Denver, Chicago, and Ann Arbor. I love my new role in first grade at Dicken! I have two bachelor’s degrees from UofM, in fine arts and elementary education. I completed a Master’s certificate program in early literacy as part of a partnership between Denver Public Schools and Adams State University. I love to teach reading!
My husband and I are both Michigan natives and graduates of University of Michigan - GO BLUE! We have two daughters, young daughters and a red heeler named Osa. I love spending time with my family!
