I have been working as a Title 1 teacher at Mitchell since the fall of 2022.  My undergraduate degree in education is from Central Michigan University and I received my ESL certification from Oakland University.  I completed my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction, Literacy emphasis, from University of Texas Arlington. I have taught in Australia, Missouri, Texas, and Minnesota, but am happy to be back in my home state. When I am not teaching and/or learning how to better reach all learners, I enjoy spending time outside with my husband, son, and chihuahua. I also enjoy reading and working out.
