I'm Avery, a 4th grade teacher at Mitchell Elementary. This is my first year at Mitchell and I'm enjoying my time as a Mustang! Prior to Mitchell I was a building substitute at Scarlett Middle School. I received a BA in Elementary Education at University of Michigan with a language arts focus. My hobbies include kayaking, all things outside, and roller derby. I'm looking forward to a fabulous first year!
