Welcome to the 2020-21 school year! AAPS Rec & Ed is very excited to offer a variety of FREE recreation and enrichment classes for youth in grades PreK-8. Beginning mid-September, families will be able to choose from diverse, high quality virtual or in-person enrichment and recreation classes available FREE Wednesday and Saturday.
Rec & Ed youth team sports is excited to announce that we are teaming up for more Michigan Futsal Factory Academy mini soccer! Coach Duck’s unique format, with Coach Sam and MIFFA coaching staff, creates a fun and nurturing experience for our youth players. Sessions run for 1 hour and follow CDC guidelines and protocols. Space is limited so REGISTER NOW!
Congratulations to Vanda Shadigian who was recently awarded the USPTA Michigan Pro of the Year Award from the United States Professional Tennis Association Midwest Division for demonstrating exemplary achievement within the last calendar year in areas including program delivery, coaching, career development, and volunteerism.
Rec & Ed must cancel the Summer Youth Sport Baseball, Softball, and T-Ball program to continue the efforts to prevent/slow the spread of COVID-19 in Ann Arbor. There will not be a 2020 Youth Sport season. We thank you for being a part of Rec & Ed and look forward to returning to the field and continuing to offer local, affordable, and quality programs in the future.
