Hello! My name is Kerry Krause. I have a Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan (Go Blue!) and a Master's Degree in Reading from Eastern Michigan University. I have worked in Ann Arbor Public schools for 31 years. I'm starting my 30th year in the classroom as a First Grade Teacher. All of my years have been here at Lawton Elementary!! I am so excited to be teaching First Grade again this year.

One of my favorite books is When The Mountain Meets the Moon because it has a beautiful message of being grateful for what we have.

My favorite subject when I was in elementary school was reading because I loved taking journeys in the books that I read.
