Ms. Abbey Wolford
Mrs. Abbey Wolford has been teaching high school mathematics since 2006 after graduating with a BA from Alma College. In April 2011, she earned her Masters Degree in Mathematics from Eastern Michigan University. Soon after, she began teaching at the college level at various community colleges in addition to teaching high school and has been doing both ever since. She realized while in high school herself that she aspired to become a mathematics teacher. Not all students excel in mathematics, so Mrs. Wolford believes someone with both the knowledge, but more importantly, the passion should be guiding young minds to engage in all levels of math. She is encouraging and available to help kids when needed!
Mrs. Wolford is happily married and has two children. She enjoys and cherishes spending time with family and traveling when the opportunity provides itself. She is grateful for the opportunity to become part of the Ann Arbor Public Schools family, and most importantly a Huron River Rat! She very much looks forward to the years to come.
