Mrs. Marie Whybark

Mrs. Marie Whybark always knew she wanted to be a teacher, even as an elementary student!  She earned a B.S. in Clinical Dietetics from the University of Vermont and immediately upon earning her Master’s Degree from the University of Michigan she began teaching college courses.  She has been an adjunct professor at Madonna University and the University of Michigan School of Public Health for 20 years.

Her first experience as a River Rat was as a student teacher in 2007.  Since then, she has taught a variety of high school and middle school classes.  She is delighted to have rejoined the Huron family in 2016 and enjoys working with students in the IB Middle Years Programme to explore the purpose and beauty of mathematics and science, as well as Personal Project.
