Orchestra Teacher

I am a teacher because I want to give students the same wonderful experiences that were give to me in instrumental music. Music provides an outlet for students to tell a story to the world. Teaching is a blast. I get the opportunity to come to work everyday to work with great students, make music, and help them develop into world class citizens.

I enjoy teaching instrumental music because it allows for so much self expression. Students come to rehearsal ready to make music, communicate a story to the audience, and express their own story through music

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and my cat Twix. I love to kayak, bike, and hike.
