    We are excited to offer a comprehensive tennis program for youth players at any age, giving them a solid skill set to play this great sport for life. Get your kids active and learning tennis FUNdamentals early with scaled down court size and age appropriate equipment.

    Rec & Ed youth tennis instruction utilizes the Net Generation Youth Progression.  Below is our class progression incorporating age, ball, court and equipment size.

    FAST TRACK TENNIS Ages 12-15   New/Inexperienced Players

    Yellow Ball, 78' Court (Interm/Adv) Racquet size 26-27”

    Players. It’s not too late to start playing tennis! Instructors “fast track” learning essential tennis skills in a fun, yet relaxed environment. Players repeat Fast Track until they are comfortable playing full court with green “dot” ball. Players progress to Green or Junior Team Tennis with instructor’s permission, and with practice, will play JV high school tennis.

    We offer year co-ed Team Tennis year round. Appropriate instructional prerequisites (stroke skills) are necessary to play on each team. Players move to the next team level by instructor’s permission. Players are encouraged to develop their skills and sportsmanship while having fun in a team setting.

    High School (Ages 14-18) Yellow Ball, 78' Court (Interm/Adv)

    Prerequisite: Silver Team, upper JV or Varsity high school tennis experience. Players compete on USTA 18 & Under Intermediate Ann Arbor Avalanche team.

    Middle School (Ages 11-14) Yellow Ball, 78' Court (Interm)

    Prerequisite: Purple Team or equivalent experience. Players compete on USTA 14 & Under Intermediate Ann Arbor Aces team.

    Middle School Beginner (Ages 11-14) Yellow Ball, 78' Court: Entry level yellow ball team (Adv Beg/Interm)

    Prerequisite: Green Team or equivalent experience. Players gain beginner match play experience and are able to compete on 14 & Under Beginner Ann Arbor All Stars team.
