Ms. Christina Zager

Ms. Zager recently obtained her Master's in Teaching from the University of Michigan, completing her student teaching at Huron. She has loved working with Huron students and faculty and is thrilled to be staying on as an official River Rat.

Before coming to Huron, Ms. Zager taught English in various contexts, working with high schoolers in France, adolescents and adults in Atlanta, GA, and kindergartners and refugees in South Korea. She has also taught SAT/ACT preparation to high school students. Ms. Zager enjoys getting to know kids and guiding them as they grow into themselves as confident young adults, as well as imaginative and analytical readers and writers. She also loves working on speaking and listening skills and feels particularly happy when she is listening to a rousing persuasive speech, a courageous story, or a creative performance. Ms. Zager's other interests include kayaking, Korean dramas, coffee ice cream, library book sales, the Arb, and color-coded Excel spreadsheets.
