I’m Melissa Stone and I am really looking forward to being the office secretary at Dicken Elementary this upcoming school year! I have been a Title 1 Tutor at Dicken for over a year and I am excited that I get to continue to help the Dicken Community in a new role.

Before moving to Ann Arbor, I worked for two years as an Autistic Support Paraprofessional at an elementary school in Pennsylvania and before that as a Substitute Paraprofessional in various roles. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems and worked in Administrative and Executive Support roles for many years prior to working with students.  I’m also the proud parent of Abby, an upcoming 7th grader at Slauson Middle School (former Dicken Dolphin). I also enjoy spending time with my family, gardening and cooking.  Thank you for welcoming me in a new role at Dicken and I look forward to working with you!
