To inspire a love of reading for my students, I provide a variety of interesting and current books in my classroom library. Students are encouraged to choose books from this library that are just right for them to read during independent reading time in the classroom and at home. An amazing resource for me in keeping my library relevant is the Scholastic Book Orders. Each time a family orders books, I get bonus points and rewards that I use to order free books for the classroom. If you are planning on buying books for your child this school year, please consider ordering through Scholastic. It is very easy and you can order online using the order form that will be sent home about once a month (see below).
