    Huron High School is authorized as a World School by the International Baccalaureate Organization to offer the Middle Years Programme (MYP), Diploma Programme (DP) and Career-related Programme (CP).

    IB at Huron is part of all four years, grades 9 - 12:

    1. IB Middle Years Programme in 9th and 10th:
      All students participate in the IB program at Huron for 9th and 10th grade.  Please click the "Middle Years Programme at Huron: 9th and 10th Grade" link to the left to find additional information.
    2. IB in 11th and 12th:  Choose Your Best Fit
      Huron High School offers International Baccalaureate (IB) pathways allows for students to choose their “IB best fit” in 11th and 12th grade.  "IB best fit" choices include:
      1. Course student - a student chooses to take one or more Diploma Programme (DP) courses during 11th and 12th grad
      2. Career-related Programme (CP) student - a career and technical education focused student chooses to take two or more DP courses and completes the CP Core during 11th and 12th grade
      3. Full Diploma Programme student (i.e. DP candidate) - a student chooses to take six DP courses and completes the DP Core (Extended Essay; Creativity, Activity and Service; Theory of Knowledge course) during 11th and 12th grade.

    Note: Only schools authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization (ibo.org) may offer any of its academic programs:  the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme (DP), or the Career Programme (CP).  Candidate status does not guarantee that authorization will be granted.
