Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Sheri Horwitz

Mrs. Horwitz has wanted to be a teacher since she was in first grade and has always been a proud bookworm! Mrs. Horwitz graduated from West Bloomfield High School and later went on to receive her Bachelors in Secondary Education from the greatest University in the world: the University of Michigan. In addition, Mrs. Horwitz also has her Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Eastern Michigan University. Mrs. Horwitz has taught in a variety of locations: West Bloomfield, Saline, and, for a brief two year stint, in Illinois before returning to Michigan in 2018.

Mrs. Horwitz loves helping her students discover classic works of literature and seeing them in a brand new light; especially if it’s her favorite book of all time: Pride and Prejudice! She’s also a not so secret Shakespeare fan and has proudly visited his hometown of Stratford-upon-Avon on numerous occasions. Any of her students can tell you she’s obsessed with movies and television and loves to make obscure (and not so obscure) pop culture references on a daily basis.
