Diane taught English in Taiwan, which is where she discovered her passion for teaching. She majored in Spanish and Mandarin Chinese at the University of Michigan and completed her Masters in Secondary Education at UM, as well. She taught for three years in Baltimore County Public Schools and has been in Ann Arbor Public Schools for 3. She is a proud product of Michigan public schools and is deeply committed to public education. Her other educational interests include literacy, community engagement and social justice education.
