    News:

    Dear Families,

We are excited to push forward with a concentrated effort to recycle more items at King. Next week each classroom all receive new recycle bins and we have more hallway receptacles. We have been designated a Green School in the past and want to continue to keep this title.

With the recycling initiative, we are tracking the bags in our waste dumpster versus our recycling dumpster.  We are making efforts to increase the use of the blue recycling dumpsters and reduce the amount of bags in the waste container.

The Recycling Center of Ann Arbor will come in to speak to each of our grade level classrooms.  The presentations included topics such as storm water, composting, and packaging waste.
