Welcome to the King Library!  My name is Katie Burrill and this is my 8th year as School Librarian at King.  I feel passionate about teaching information, literacy and technology skills to our wonderful students.  Before being hired by the Ann Arbor Public School District, I lived in beautiful Chicago and worked for the Chicago Public Schools. My bachelor's degree is from Michigan State University and I have a Master of Library Science from Dominican University in Illinois.

I live in South Lyon with my husband, Matt and our two children, Maggie (5) and Thomas (3), who keep us very busy.  Some of my favorite interests include reading, bike riding, swimming, skiing and spending time with family in Oxford and Boyne City.

I am looking forward to another wonderful school year at King!
