AAPS COVID-19 Update
May 7thHello AAPS Students and Staff, Parents and Community
Today’s brief update includes information on:
- AAPS Food Service
- Class of 2020 Town Hall Meetings
AAPS Food Service
Tomorrow, Friday, May 8th, is the next planned food distribution with meals provided for Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. If you have food allergy needs or cannot make it to a pick-up location, please call 734-994-2265. Full details on the AAPS Food Service are available here.
In addition to the AAPS Food Service available for students, Food Gatherers information on the supplemental food pantry and pick-up locations is here.
Class of 2020 Town Hall Meetings
The AAPS will be hosting a pair of Town Hall meetings next week via Facebook Live on the Ann Arbor Public Schools page to share current thinking on how best to honor our AAPS seniors, review the results of the Class of 2020 ThoughtExchange online survey, hear from students and parents, and discuss next steps in the process to confirm commencement plans for our graduates.
Both Town Hall meetings will be held on Tuesday, May 12th, with a student-focused meeting at 3 PM and a parent/guardian-focused event at 4 PM. For individuals unable to attend during the live events or who don’t use Facebook, the district will share the video of the meetings on the district’s web site.
Sincerely,
Jeanice K. Swift
Superintendent of Schools
