Greetings!

I am a special education teacher consultant/resource room teacher new to Carpenter this year.  I have been in the field of education for 18 years, and truly enjoy working with families and teaching children in all types of settings.  My dedication, compassion, and enthusiasm I have for helping children feel empowered while learning continues with each passing year. 

I am happily married to my husband Brian, and we reside in Ann Arbor.  My hobbies include: playing with and taking our dog Bella on walks, hiking, kayaking, gardening, arts/crafts, and spending time with family and friends.  I also like spending time reading outside in our backyard and watching movies. 

It is an honor to be part of the Carpenter family and community, and I look forward to getting to know and teaching all of my students over the upcoming school year. I am here for you!
