Winter Sports Update
We are calling on the Michigan High School Athletics Association, in the interest of the health and safety of all Michigan’s high school student-athletes, coaches and staff, parents and communities as well as to ensure a positive experience for student-athletes and a successful, sustainable winter sports season, to determine adjustments to delay the start of the winter athletic season. The full statement can be seen here.
Frequently Asked Questions
As the AAPS community faces new challenges daily caused by the COVID-19 global pandemic, we continue to respond to new questions. We work on updating the most commonly asked questions for these communications each week, Reimagine Learning 2020-21 FAQs webpage. Additions this week include information about parental controls on AAPS devices, and details about the work of preparing our school buildings for a safe return to in-school learning.
Thank you, parents and community members, for your understanding and strong support. We remain steadfast in our commitment to serve and support our students, and we are proud of the work of our teachers, staff and leaders to ensure connections for learning and growth during this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Jeanice Kerr Swift
