All Ann Arbor Public Schools schools and offices will be closed in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, January 18th. Many community engagement events are planned; you may see additional information on a few events in this update.
AAPS Food Distribution Adds Dinners
The Ann Arbor Public Schools continue to distribute food on Mondays and Thursdays. These distributions now include dinner bowls. Full details on the food distribution program, including distribution times and locations, are available here.
AAPS Rec & Ed Free Programs
Rec & Ed continues to offer free programs on Wednesdays and Saturdays, both virtually and in-person, outside school buildings across the community. Our programs are designed to keep kids active through fun virtual and outdoor activities, providing a safe opportunity to be active and social. The 22nd annual MLK Children and Youth Program takes place on January 18, 2021. Celebrate the legacy of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with programming for children and youth via zoom. Information and registration here.
