Hi! My name is Mrs. Morning. I
am happy to be your child’s
teacher for the 2023-2024 school
year. This will be my 3rd year
teaching at Carpenter and my 18th
year teaching. I am excited to
make this a great year!

I was born and raised in Ann
Arbor. My undergraduate and
Masters degree are from Eastern
Michigan where I specialized in
Early Childhood and as a Reading
Specialist. Prior to coming to
Carpenter I was a reading
interventionist in Belleville;
before that I taught 1st grade in
Detroit. I have 2 children, one will
be in 3rd grade at Carpenter and
the other has moved on to
Scarlett Middle School.
