This is my first year at the Westerman Preschool Center.   I truly enjoy working with our preschool families, watching our students learn and grow. 

I have worked in schools for the past 20 years. I started my career as an Assistant Culinary Arts teacher with Romulus Community Schools.   I loved working with students, teaching them the "ins and outs" of the restaurant industry. I specialized in teaching students baking skills, and took several students to competitions for cake decorating.  In 2010, I transitioned to my current role as an Office Professional, continuing my work with students as well as starting a new role with the athletic department.

I transitioned to Ann Arbor Public Schools in 2016, joining the team at Forsythe Middle School. I worked in both the student office and the main reception desk. I do miss my students from Forsythe, but the preschool is such an awesome place to work

I have been married for 6 years to my husband, Keith (Huron Grad), and I have a 29-year-old daughter, Ashley.  We enjoy spending time together “Up North” at our family cabin.
