Food Pantries and Free Meals - updated 9.18.23
- Food Gatherers Food Pantry Map: Find Food Pantries and Meals
- Call Food Gatherers at 734-761-2796 to speak to a staff member if you have any questions about finding the right program for you.
- Free Food Flyers in various languages: English, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish.
- Free grocery distribution at Pathways to Success Academic Campus begins on Wednesday, 9/20 from 4:00 to 5:30pm. There are no income guidelines and you do not have to be an Ann Arbor resident to participate. Future grocery distributions will take place on the 2nd Weds of each month.
- Packard Health offers community food pantries stocked by Food Gatherers, and the seasonal Fresh-a-Sprout FREE fresh food market.

- Appointments are not necessary and everything is free and open to the community.
- SOS Community Services: SOS operates a food pantry Tuesdays 1-6:30pm and Wednesdays 9-1pm at its Ypsilanti location. Each pantry visitor will receive one bag of groceries at the door.
- Jewish Family Services speciality food pantry: In addition to non-perishable foods, offers fresh produce and an array of specialty food items to those with medical or religious dietary restrictions, including but not limited to; gluten-free, diabetic friendly, vegan, liquid nutrition, kosher and halal.
- Delonis Center on Site Community Kitchen: Open for lunch and dinner. All are welcome.
- Bryant Community Center Food Pantry: Food distribution and pantry available Mon-Thurs from 10am-3pm and Fri from 10am-2pm.
- Peace Neighborhood Center Friday Food Distribution in partnership with Food Gatherers is available Friday throughout the school-year 10-11:30 AM.
- For AAPS Staff Only–Help Families with Emergency Food! Emergency Grocery Distribution - AAPS staff pick up at Pathways - Mon-Thur, 8:00am-6:00pm & Friday - 8:00am-4:00pm. Details here.

- Apply for Food Assistance Through MIBridges
- SNAP Helpline: For help with new or current SNAP (food stamp) cases, call the Food Bank Council of Michigan helpline: 1-888-544-8773. Multi-lingual assistance is provided with this helpline.
- Assistance Applying for SNAP: Need help with online applications for public benefits such as SNAP, cash assistance and Medicare/Medicaid? University of Michigan Law Students are here to help.
