My name is Ms. Vallina and this is my second year teaching at Lawton! I am so excited to be a part of the Lawton family. I previously worked as a Preschool teacher at Adventure Center in Ypsilanti and as a Special Education Teaching Assistant at Burns Park Elementary in Ann Arbor. I graduated in 2019 from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor with my Master’s degree in Elementary Education and Teaching Certification. I am looking forward to getting to know all of the wonderful Lawton families and students this school year! When I am not teaching, I enjoy running at the park and practicing yoga.

A book I would recommend to Lawton students is the Magic Tree House series because it takes you on many fascinating, magical adventures.
