Joys Kapali started her teaching career at Huron High School in 2022 as a psychology teacher. She teaches Psychology, Applied Psychology, and Psychology DP SL.

Ms. Kapali grew up in Dhaka, Bangladesh until 6th grade, when her family moved to Niles, Michigan. She is a proud graduate of the University of Michigan where she studied Secondary Education with a focus on Psychology and ESL. During the summer, she teaches at the Summer ESL Academy. Yes, the ESL student became an ESL teacher.

Educational Psychology and Social Psychology are Ms. Kapali's favorite areas of study within the field. She can and often will rant about psychology and mental health with anyone who will listen. After graduation, Ms. Kapali stuck around the college town to enjoy the walkable city and diverse food culture. Some of her hobbies include painting, journaling, and walking around Ann Arbor, both the town and the many awesome public parks.
