    About

    Automotive Technology introduces the basic fundamentals of vehicle service and preventative maintenance.  It is an excellent entry to further your automotive knowledge, for either a student considering a CTE automotive pathway or for all automobile owners.

    How To Join The Program

    The Automotive Technology program is open to all high school students in the Ann Arbor Public Schools. Classes are offered at Huron and Pioneer.

    If you are a high school student who wishes to join the Automotive Technology program and your school does not offer these classes, you will need to apply by filling out this Google Form. The form contains all details, including due dates.

    Certifications, Licenses & Assessments

    • Students who successfully complete Auto Service Technology 1 may be certified by ASE for G1 “Maintenance and Light Repair”

    • Students  who successfully complete Auto Service Technology 2 may also take ASE testing A2 Automatic Transmission, A3 DriveTrain, A4 Steering and Suspension, A5 Brakes, A6 Electrical, A7 Heating & Air Conditioning, and A8 Engine Performance to receive ASE certificates in those respective areas.
