A little about me:  I am married and have two children of my own, Rider is in 7th grade and Isabella is in 3rd grade. My family and I enjoy traveling, cheering on Michigan, and being outdoors.  As a parent, I know how important it is to communicate with my children’s teachers.  As a teacher, I want you to know that I am available for you.  The best way to reach me is by email:  reclae@aaps.k12.mi.us   

This will be my 16th year of teaching, and my second year as a Lakewood Lizard. I am very excited for the 2019-202 school year!

5th grade is a very special age, and I love teaching it.  Our students are the leaders of the school—setting the example for others to follow.  The unique part of teaching 5th grade that I enjoy so much is helping kids make that transition from elementary to middle school. The strides these students make this year will astound you!
