Sara Neevel is an enthusiastic reader and lover of English. She completed her undergraduate degree at Hope College and went on to pursue her masters in educational studies at the University of Michigan. After completing her student teaching at Huron in 2017, she knew she wanted to be a river rat. 

Ms. Neevel is passionate about providing opportunities for students to engage with authentic texts and real-world connections. When she’s not at school you can find her trying new restaurants, watching basketball, or going on hikes with her husband and dog, Boatswain.
