Ms. Nicole Nunlee
Ms. Nunlee knew early on that she wanted to be an educator. During every summer vacation, she would gather up her friends in the neighborhood and play school for hours. Her path to become a school counselor has included student teaching at Romulus High School, where she was later hired to teach standardized test prep, and running a transitional living program at Ozone House.
Ms. Nunlee has worked at Huron High School for eleven years where she serves as co-advisor for Key Club and co-advisor for the Be The Change~Challenge Day Club. Education continues to be a love and passion for Ms. Nunlee. She relishes that her work as a school counselor requires an ever expanding knowledge base that changes as the world changes and she delights in helping her River Rat students reach their dreams.
