Mrs. RaShonda Jamerson
RaShonda Jamerson has always had a passion for working with teens. Before becoming a school counselor, she worked in a group home setting for several years helping teens formulate thoughts and behaviors to create better decision-making habits.
In 2006, Mrs. Jamerson began and completed her internship at Pioneer High School. Her internship led to the start of her career as a school counselor at Huron High School in 2007.
At Huron, Mrs. Jamerson has worked as the advisor of the National Honor Society. She currently serves on the District’s Crisis Team and works with the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Department on any issues that concern the school’s environment. Mrs. Jamerson recently began working with the Washtenaw Intermediate School District on developing an expertise in Financial Aid/FAFSA completion.
Mrs. Jamerson appreciates the diversity found within the walls of Huron and enjoys the opportunity to help make high school more engaging for all.
