Carpenter Elementary is a school with a warm heart, a place where each child and family is made to feel welcome and at home. Our proud and dedicated staff seeks to prepare and inspire young minds, challenging each child and developing unique talents and confidence. Our rigorous, engaging curriculum builds the foundation for students to apply skills and knowledge in meaningful, real-world ways. Through our unique and personalized instruction, students engage in creative, project-based experiences that strengthen skill and build confidence in truly exceptional ways. Our core academics blend with our fine arts department and commitment to physical and mental health provide for a well-rounded educational experience.
Carpenter is an elementary school that is both traditional and cutting edge. The values we seek to instill in our students are universal character qualities including kindness, courtesy, respect and integrity. Coupled with high academic rigor and use of educational technology Carpenter is constantly evolving and innovating.
With over 30 different languages spoken among Carpenter families, we are truly an international school. Our students enjoy a rich multicultural environment promoting a breadth of perspective that makes for global mindedness.
With our 21st century technology in all classrooms, Carpenter Elementary has the resources to inspire learning. But it is our team of educators who make our school a special learning environment. They demand the very best from their students and give them the support and encouragement they need to flourish. They inspire young minds!
We believe in true partnership with our families. We all work together as part of the Carpenter extended family to insure success for all students. We believe in a collective responsibility to empower children with creative, intellectual and decision-making skills necessary for them to become academically, socially, physically and emotionally successful and responsible. With that in mind, you are invited and encouraged to be an active participant at Carpenter Elementary. Whether you are a classroom volunteer, a member of the PTO, a participant in special events or a member of one of our school communities, we look forward to seeing you here at Carpenter Elementary!
We work hard to keep our community informed of all that is taking place here at Carpenter. We are at your service should you have questions, suggestions or concerns. We welcome and encourage your input. Most importantly, please come and visit our school and experience the energy and expertise of our children, the great care exhibited by our team of educators and the passion for learning that sets Carpenter Elementary apart as a school of excellence. I look forward to having a long and rewarding relationship with you and your family!
