Mr. Robert Fox
Robert Fox graduated from the University of Michigan-Dearborn with a B.A. in English and a minor in Communications and received a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI.
At Huron, Fox teaches DP Film, TV-Production, Argumentation, and various other English courses. He uses his own aspirations of writing and filmmaking to inspire his students to follow their own dreams. He has also worked in other related fields of media, including both print and broadcast journalism, advertising, and public relations, including stints at Ford Motor Company, the Dearborn Times-Herald, Detroit Public Television, and WJR radio.
Fox is the writer of three published books and has been published in over 30 publication and is an award-winning writer of several short stories, plays, poems, and 15 feature length screenplays (two of which have been optioned to Hollywood).
He is also the writer/director/editor of several award-winning short films. He is also a saxophonist huge sports fan -- especially baseball and basketball.
Fox lives in Ypsilanti with his wife -- also a Huron teacher -- and two children.
