Mr. Robert Fox
Robert Fox graduated from the University of Michigan-Dearborn with a B.A. in English and a minor in Communications and received a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI.
At Huron, Fox teaches DP Film, TV-Production, and various other English courses. He uses his own aspirations of writing and filmmaking to inspire his students to follow their own dreams. He has also worked in other related fields of media, including both print and broadcast journalism, advertising, and public relations, including stints at Ford Motor Company, the Dearborn Times-Herald, Detroit Public Television, and WJR radio.
Fox is the writer of three published books and has been published in over 30 publications and is an award-winning writer of several short stories, plays, poems, and 15 feature-length screenplays (two of which are in development as feature films).
He is also the writer/director/editor of several award-winning short films. He is also a saxophonist and huge sports fan -- especially baseball and basketball.
