Mr. Scott Hunter
Mr. Scott Hunter began his teaching career in 1998 in the Business Department at Kalamazoo Central High School located in Kalamazoo, Michigan. In 2000, Mr. Hunter moved to Ann Arbor where he was employed in the Business Department at Huron High School.
During his 16 years tenure with Huron High School, Mr. Hunter has taught a variety of classes including Business Principles and Management, Entrepreneurship, Note Taking and Study Skills, World History and Geography, Marketing, and Sports Marketing.
Mr. Hunter has served as an advisor to Business Professionals of America (BPA) for thirteen years and recently started a Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA) program which is a national club that helps students learn business concepts in preparation for college and careers in business and marketing.
Mr. Hunter started the Green House school store at Huron High School in 2012. The Green House is managed and operated by Huron High School marketing students and offers hands on retail sales experience.
Mr. Hunter holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Western Michigan University in Secondary Education Business with a minor in History and a vocational certification in Marketing. He received his Master’s degree in Sports Administration from Wayne State University in 2003.
