Ms. Lisa Bares
Mrs. Bares began teaching at Huron in 1999 teaching and also has served as the District Department Chair for World Languages. She has always been passionate about cultural awareness and communication. She loves showing her students how to use language in the “real world.” In addition to teaching she facilitated the Inter-group Relations Program, which focused on learning how to peacefully resolve conflicts that exist between groups to promote social justice. Mrs. Bares has had the opportunity to travel to various countries around the world and study in universities in Spain, the Czech Republic and Bosnia Herzegovina. he loves showing her students how to use language in the “real world.”
Outside of school Mrs. Bares keeps busy by training for a half marathon, spending time with her family at their cottage on the lake and catching up with friends.
