Ms. Andrea Clyne
Andrea Clyne has been teaching French in the Ann Arbor Public Schools for 7 years and is passionate about language learning and cultural awareness. After completing her undergraduate degrees in French and Environmental Policy at the University of Michigan, she spent two and a half years in Madagascar where she served as an Environmental Education Volunteer through the Peace Corps from 2001-2004. In 2006 Ms. Clyne earned her Masters in Education and her secondary teaching certificate from the University of Michigan. She began teaching in AAPS in 2008 and has enjoyed teaching all levels (French 1- 5AP) in various middle and high schools within the district.
Ms. Clyne is passionate about language, learning and service and strives to provide opportunities for her students to use and develop their language skills within and outside of the classroom through film, music, food, travel and other means. She has traveled to almost 30 countries and speaks French, Spanish, English and Malagasy. Ms. Clyne is currently studying Polish and German.
