    Registration Procedures
    All registration will take place ONLINE this year, during  the dates listed below.

    PLEASE REGISTER EARLY! Late registrants are not guaranteed league placement.
    ONLINE REGISTRATION required for sponsor/initial registration. 
    NOTE:  Online registration is for initial registration only, which reserves your team’s spot in the league. Managers will submit later by email: team roster, team fee, and non-resident fees.
    Rosters and team fees are submitted by email / credit card form due to Covid 19 office closure. Team fees cannot be paid online or at the diamond.

    Non-Resident Fees

    Sponsor fees are initial fees paid by all teams at registration to reserve their spot in the league. All teams pay the sponsor fee and the team fee, regardless of whether the team has a sponsor.
    The non-resident fee applies to all players who reside outside of the boundaries of the AAPS district. It is used to recover a portion of the program costs from participants who do not reside within the AAPS district.
    Sponsor fees are due at the time of team registrationAll fees (sponsor & team fees) must be paid online. All team rosters, player info, and team fees are due by Thursday, August 19, 2021. Anything submitted after this date is assessed a late fee of $2 per player.
    Rec & Ed will accept credit and debit cards from the team sponsor, team manager or a designated, registered team member for sponsor fees and team fees. No personal checks will be accepted for partial payments or late fees.

    The season is tentatively scheduled to begin the week of August 23, 2021. Each team will play 10 games (doubleheaders as much as possible) and the season will last 5-7 weeks.
     Friday night league only. Games start as early as 6:30 PM and as late as 10:00PM. 
    Equipment Pick-Up Dates
    Each team will be given game balls and result sheets. Every team must send a representative to Equipment Pick-up on any of the dates and times listed below. Pick-up will be held as a drive-through in the side driveway at the Rec & Ed office, 1515 S. 7th, Ann Arbor, 48103.

     Matching uniform shirts with visible and distinct numbers are recommended, but not required.

    League Info, Rules and Guidelines
    Rec & Ed has developed local league rules. Every team will receive a set of Rec & Ed league rules.  Managers are encouraged to familiarize themselves with both sets of rules.
    Roster Information:  No roster limit.

    Official Result Sheets
    The home team must keep the official score. The team listed first on the league schedule is designated as the home team. The winning team is required to submit the game result to Rec & Ed by email immediately after the game. However, in the event your game ends in a tie, the HOME TEAM is responsible for submitting the result sheet.  Result sheets should be emailed to league statistician, Nick Doyle, at doylen@a2schools.org.
    Sponsor and individual awards will be presented to the division /league champion.  In divisions or leagues with 9 or more teams, individual awards will also be presented to the runner-up.
