Librarian

Jennifer Colby has a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Michigan State University and a Master of Science in Information from the University of Michigan. She has been a teacher librarian since 2013 in both elementary and high school libraries. She is certified in K-12 School Library Media and secondary English. She was the 2020 Michigan Association of School Librarians Library Director of the Year. As a librarian at Huron, she enjoys actively collaborating with students and teachers to access, evaluate, and organize information found from a variety of interesting, authoritative, and relevant sources. She enjoys swimming, camping, and making pottery.
