We are excited to announce that our 2023 Kindergarten Round-up will be held on February 16th. We are excited to host this wonderful event and even more excited to meet our future herons!
In hopes of keeping all of our families safe and healthy, we will be running a staggered “Open House” format based on your child’s last name!
The window for applying to attend a Young 5's Program is open. This is a district program and enrollment in the neighborhood school is not guaranteed. Please see the district page for more details.
Our school is in need of volunteers to help monitor the playground at recess. If you are interested and able to support Thurston's staff and students during lunch hour, please sign up for a day or multiple days during the week.
Thurston's recess goes from 11:45-12:55. Volunteers should check in at the main office. Please arrive 10 minutes early on your first day to leave time to check in and see where our Lunch Supervisor, Anne T. We are in need of bodies to support all play areas, we can not guarantee you will be with your kiddo on the day(s) you choose.

Fifty people experiencing homelessness were treated to a hot meal Monday night thanks to some generous A2 STEAM seventh graders.
