Hello Wines Community! My name is Jennifer Puente, and I am very excited to be joining Wines next year.  I have been a first and second grade teacher at Bryant school for the past twenty years, however I have been part of Ann Arbor Public Schools for my entire life.  My parents are both retired AAPS teachers, and I went through Eberwhite, Slauson, and Pioneer as a child.  I am also the proud mother of an incoming freshman at Pioneer, so I have a unique perspective of the district from many different angles.

When I'm not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and my dogs.  We love spending summer days at our cottage up north or traveling to Ecuador to visit family.  My off-school time during the year involves lots of driving from one of my daughter's soccer activities to another, and watching and attending various University of Michigan athletic activities. I am so anxious to begin this next phase of my teaching career at Wines, I hear I am very lucky to be joining such a supportive and special community!
