My name is Jessica Rodriguez.  I’m an Ann Arbor native and graduate of Eastern Michigan University with a B.S. in Elementary Education, and an Early Childhood Endorsement.  I lived out west for a number of years, where my passion for working with children began, but eventually the Mitten State called me back. I've been teaching 3rd grade at Wines since 2011. Before teaching 3rd grade, I taught at a private preschool and Kindergarten at Eberwhite. I love my job, and I’m happy to be here! I believe the classroom starts with building and maintaining a strong sense of community, and I use Response Classroom approaches to teaching and connecting with my students. I live in Ann Arbor with my husband and my daughter. When I’m not teaching, I love to be outdoors, be active, do creative projects, read, and spend time with family and friends.
