Students Demand Action for Gun Sense is hosting State Senator Rebekah Warren for a discussion at Forsythe! Please join us in Ms. Koknar’s room next Monday, December 10th from 3:15 to 4:15 to ask Senator Warren about the issues she’s working on in the legislature and find out what she’s doing to regulate firearms and keep Michigan safe.

On Tuesday, December 11th, Student Council Members will host Joe Tate, recently elected as District 2 (Detroit/Grosse Pointe) state representative. A former NFL player and Marine Corps veteran, Mr. Tate is now dedicated to improving the quality of life for his community. This event is for Student Council members.

    Food Drive for Food Gatherers

Student Council is holding its annual canned food drive for Food Gatherers from Monday, November 26 - Monday, December 17.
Food Gatherers requests healthy and nourishing foods and other “most needed” items. It also loves cash donations - $1 helps Food Gatherers provide 3 meals.

(Checks should be made out to “Food Gatherers” or use a credit card with the form below.) For the purpose of Advisory count (since the winning Advisory receives some sweets donated by Zingerman’s), each donated dollar = one item.
