Peer-to-Peer- L.E.A.D.

Eberwhite values diversity in all forms.  Our peer-to-peer work in the Learning at Eberwhite About Diversity (L.E.A.D) program is one example.  Students with special needs partner with typical peers in the same grade.  Typical peers learn about various disabilities and how to support children with special needs.  Through authentic classroom and school activities all of the students learn valuable life lessons and create meaningful relationships.  A culminating event each semester is a potluck for students and their parents.
